Lakeside Sports Complex and the Keepmoat Stadium Contract Win

LakesideIT is proud to announce that it has recently been awarded the contract to act as the sports complex IT consultancy but also to install and support the IT systems.

The Keepmoat Stadium will give Doncaster a national presence and is set to increase significantly the numbers of local people watching and taking part in sport. It will be the new home for The Dons - Rugby League Club, Doncaster Rovers Football Club, Doncaster Rovers Belles Women’s football Club and the Doncaster Athletics Club.

The £32 million stadium has a capacity of over 15,000 with the ability to increase it’s capacity further. The sports complex also has facilities including two external full-size floodlit grass pitches, eight floodlit all-weather 5-a-side pitches and two floodlit all-weather 7-a-side pitches.

LakesideIT will be providing a premium support level agreement to assist with the day to day running of the computer network as well as ensuring the appropriate communications are in place for the events that will be held at the venue. We have been working with the Stadium Management Company for several weeks now to ensure the appropriate it systems are in place for the opening.

As well as providing support to the stadium we have also been working with the other suppliers to ensure that the IT technology for the complex is correctly integrated. This includes the ticketing system, the stadium entry system, the cash registers, the telephone system and the press and media that will be reporting from the stadium.

We also have the task of maintaining and designing the official stadium web sites which will involve regular updates with updates on the complex news, events and important visitor information.
