As of April 2007 we picked up the national IT support of Certex UK Ltd.
Certex has sites across England, Scotland and Wales and is the main UK supplier of lifting equipment. Certex also supplies quality brands including Bridon Wire Rope based on Potteric Carr Road in Doncaster and in total supplies over 50,000 Lifting products providing solutions for virtually any application.
The main hub of Certex's computer network is based at LakesideIT's new data centre within the Keepmoat Stadium. From here the software and systems used by every site is connected across a high speed national network.
LakesideIT was chosen from a shortlist of candidiates and was finally selected due to their flexibility and commitment throughout the tendering process.
Ashley Harris of LakesideIT says "This is a mjor contract win for LakesideIT and boosts our recent contract wins along with the Keepmoat Stadium. Throughout the tendering process LakesideIT was dedicated and was able to deliver the solution that a national company like Certex was looking for."
