Managed Broadband / ADSL

Our broadband service uses a high quality, resilient network to provide a robust and rapid broadband experience to our customers. By bundling our service with line rental and highly competitive call packages, we are able to offer superb value for money. Features such as fixed static IP addresses, highly competent technical support, email boxes, web hosting and data usage monitoring make our service the ideal choice for businesses and professionals.

Our portfolio consists of various types of broadband; ADSL, ADSL Max, ADSL2+, Annex M and SDSL, with speeds of up to 24Mb. There is also the option of different contentions up to and including our premium uncontended service.

Our network utlises LLU and so we can provide up to 24Mb broadband across the majority of the UK. We have clients in central Doncaster achieving speeds of 18Mb!

Some 24Mb services do not support your own ADSL equipment as you achieve lower speeds, but our network allows for any ADSL2 modem to be installed on the line.

ADSL is an asymmetric service because it moves downloaded data more quickly than uploaded data. This means that even though you may have a 2Mb ADSL service you can only upload, or send back to the internet at 256Kb. Some applications are not suitable for use on ADSL.

ADSL Max and ADSL2+ are variants of ADSL which offer higher download and upload speeds. Annex M is an SDSL service delivered on an ADSL link, with 512kb, 1Mb and 2Mb synchronous connections.

There is also the option to prioritise 200kb to guarantee voice quality if you will be using your connection for both voice and data.

SDSL provides a permanent connection to the internet utilising a dedicated connection between your premises and the local exchange. SDSL is a business performance service and offers the same performance and service levels as more expensive leased lines.
